About me
Bjorn Andersson transferred the well-known result "The utilization bound of Rate-Monotonic is 69 percent" to multiprocessors, invented the task-splitting approach for scheduling hard real-time tasks on multiprocessors and transferred the idea of bin-packing heuristics to heterogeneous multiprocessors. He proved the utilization bound of CAN (25 percent), invented the wireless CAN bus ("WiDom"), provided timing analysis for it and showed the usefulness (in terms of scalability) of the prioritized medium access control protocol (such as WiDom) for computing aggregated quantities in Cyber-Physical Systems.
